Upcoming races in the Ardara GAA Minor Board 5K series take place on Wednesday 19th and Wednesday 26th June.Registration each night from 6.30pm upstairs in the Club House.Races start at 7.30pm.€8 per adult. €3 for under 16s. Family price €20.Prizes in various categories.
Nature Walk at Sheskinmore
Saturday June 22nd at 11am. Duration about 4 hours.Meet at the Tramore Beach car park, next to Campbells’ caravan park, Rosbeg, follow L7713 off the Ardara to Portnoo Road.Sheskinmore in late June is a great opportunity to see an abundant variety of wild flowers (some rare), insect life, and other wildlife. Ralph Sheppard is our guide.Admission is free. No need to book. Everyone is welcome. Parkrun/Walk on Narin Beach
Narin Beach Parkrun/walk 5k will take place on Narin Strand starting Saturday June 22nd at 9.30am and every Saturday thereafter. All runners/walkers welcome.Parkrun organise free weekly 5km timed walks/runs around the world. Get Ready for the Sliabh Tuaidh 3 Peaks Challenge!
Saturday 20th July 2019The three summits of Sliabh Tuaidh make a fine circular walk and provide outstanding views of the rugged Donegal coastline.Registration will be at the Heritage Centre in Ardara at 9.00am, with the bus leaving as soon as possible afterwards.The fee for this guided walk is €35 which includes chowder or soup in Nancy’s after, plus a little surprise on the way back at Assaranca Waterfall.Experienced walkers only.
