A Reminder

A Sister from the Daughters of Charity will address the congregations at the Masses this weekend about the work of the sisters in various parts of the world, and she will be asking for your support as they continue their work among the poor and suffering people that continue to be so much part of our world.

The Annual Service of Prayers

Readings and the Blessing of the Graves in the Parish Cemetery will be held this Sunday 7th August at 2.30pm. It is possible that there may not be enough priests to bless the graves individually, so you may wish to sprinkle Holy Water on your family graves. However we will do the best we can.

As usual a collection for the upkeep of the cemetery will be taken up at the service.

The Dead

Margaret McHugh, Glengesh, whose funeral took place on Friday.

And we remember and pray for John E. Boyle; Billy Maxwell; Maggie/Barney and Benny Boyle; Mary McGill; Andy Sweeney; Conor Breslin; Patrick Charles Kennedy; whose anniversaries occur, and for deceased members of the Breslin family, Crucknagapple.

May they all rest in the Peace of the Lord.
