First Communion Day

Next Sunday is the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord and it is also First Communion Day for the children of the Parish.

First Communion will be celebrated with Mass at 2.00pm in the afternoon.

Confessions will be available on Saturday morning.

Rosary Rally in Knock

National Rosary Rally in Knock on Saturday June 4th. A bus has been organised by Fr. Rory Brady P.P., Bruckless and it will leave the church car park here in Ardara at 8.15am. If interested, please contact Fr. Rory at 97-37015 to book your seat.

St. Vincent de Paul

The St. Vincent de Paul Society, Ardara Branch, thank all who supported their recent Uganda Twinning collection. €558.00 was donated and this will go directly to agricultural and educational projects in Uganda.

The St. Shanaghan branch of the St. Vincent de Paul Society are currently looking for volunteers to help with their work in the Parish – Visitation and Church Door collections after the weekend Masses.

The Dead

Raymond Brennan (brother of Josie Brennan, Hillhead) who was buried in Ardaghey on Thursday.

Maureen Moriarty whose funeral took place in Florida.

And we also pray for Bernadette Gallagher; Nancy and Francie Boyle; Frank McDevitt; Eunan and Thomas Maguire, whose anniversaries occur.

May they rest in peace. Amen.

Cemetery Grass

The grass in the cemetery will be cut, weather permitting, towards the end of this coming week.
