World Food Day October 16th
“Water is life, water is food. Leave no one behind.” Access to water is not only essential for survival but also plays a vital role in ensuring food security for all. 2.4 billion people live in water-stressed countries.
What can we do?
Be conscious of how much water we use. Be conscious of food waste. Donate to Trocaire who fund sustainable development in the most vulnerable areas of the world.
Altar Servers:
We hope to re-introduce altar servers in the near future. Training will be provided. Forms have been given out through the schools.
St Shanaghan Conference of St Vincent De Paul
Urgently needs volunteers for collecting after Sunday Masses and for visitation. If you feel you could help, please call 087 9585677. Training will be given.
Ardara Care of the Aged Day Centre
