Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

The week of prayer for Christian Unity begins on Wednesday 18th January and ends on Wednesday 25th January, the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul.

The week gives us all an opportunity to identify with the theme of Week of Prayer for Christian Unity:

“Learn to do good, seek justice, rescue the oppressed. Defend the orphan, plead for the widow”

The Prophet Isaiah 1;17.

The Dead

We remember in prayer this weekend those whose anniversaries occur:

Neily McNelis

Mary Reynolds

Micky Kennedy

Martina Maguire

And also the deceased members of the Raphoe Diocesan Society, whose names were enrolled in the past quarter, 1st September – 31st December 2022 from the Parish:

Hugh Francis McHugh, Brackey

Peter Cunningham, Cloughboy

Patrick Cannon, Glengesh

Margaret Hennigan, Sandfield

And just a reminder of how important it is to enrol your deceased family members in the Society… they will be remembered for all time in the Masses offered for the deceased members year after year.

You can also enroll yourself as a living member and be remembered in the Masses for living members.
