Paddy McGill Memorial Lecture:  The Paddy McGill Memorial Lecture will take place in the Heritage Centre, on next Saturday evening 12^th September at 8.30pm.  The topic will be “Irish Internal Migration 1600 – present; A neglected Aspect”.  Speak will be Dr Paddy Fitzgerald.  All are welcome.New Dance & Dance Fitness Classes:  Line Dancing: Beginners Class starting starting Tuesday 8^th September at 8.30pm in the Heritage Centre.  Contact Bridget on 087 9130558.Fitness @ Fifty: Zumba Gold starting Friday 11^th September at 11.00 a.m. in the Heritage Centre.  No pressure, no judging, loads of fun. To book a place or for further information please contact Laura Mc Ginley at 087 6362590.Downstrands Family Resource Centre: Autumn activities will be starting in September. It is hoped to run the following new courses if we get enough numbers.  What’s Cookin’, Power of Positive Thinking, Mindfulness, Mosaics, Archaeology, Art Classes.  Continuing Activities:  Ramblers Walking Group, Computers and Knit & Crochet in Glenties.  Kids Activities: Badminton, Guitar Lessons, Basketball and Judo.  There are spaces for new members in these activities.  Babies and Toddlers: There is the ongoing Mother & Toddler Groups in Portnoo and Glenties, Baby Massage, Bumps & Beyond, Messy Play and Tine Tunes.
