Jim Browne’s Testimony about his change of life can be heard in Bruckless next Thursday at 7.30 p.m. and in Kilclooney next Friday at 7.30p.m. 

Irish Language Survey

A team of volunteers and committee members for the Sliabh A Liag Peninsula language planning areas, will be doing a survey on the state of the Irish language in the parish. They start next Monday and continue for a number of weeks. Your support will be appreciated.

Enrollments for Gortnacart N.S.

Anyone wish to enrol a pupil in Gortnacart National School can do so by contacting the school on 95 47199, or by collecting an enrollment form from the school. 

Ardara Ceoltas

The Ardara branch of Ceoltas is presenting a traditional music Concert on Saturday 10th March in the beehive at 8.30pm. The concert will feature Brid Harper, Dermot Byrne and Steve Cooney. Everyone is welcome. 

Quiz Night

The ICA are holding a Charity Quiz Night in Nancy’s Bar on Thursday 23rd February. All participants must be in teams of 3. 

Artwork/Sale Auction

The annual Artwork/Sale Auction will be held on Friday 24th March in Nancy’s. This is a great event and is getting bigger and bigger every year. Anyone wishing to contribute a piece of artwork can contact Claire Molloy on 087 2842012. 

Celebration Dance

A celebration dance will be held in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel on Friday 17th March for Stephen McCahill, Donegal Person of the Year 2017. There will be music from Rambling Fever. 

Community Centre Gym

The Community Centre Gym is now opened. It is fully equipped and available to the public for use. For bookings contact Noleen on 087 9502266. 

Ardara Walking Festival 2017

The Ardara Walking Festival will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th March this year. Organiser John Damian Gallagher has scheduled some excellent walks this year ranging from local to the Poison Glen. Contact John Damian on 087 6655828. 

St Patrick’s Festival Weekend

The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place in Ardara on Sunday 19th March at 3.30. All the bands are organised and ready to go, so we are asking all businesses to make a special effort this year to enter a float in the parade, and we also ask all community groups to put in a float too. There are many great ideas for floats this year, so please come and join in and make this a special Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.
