Evening Dining in Ardara
A big effort has been made by local business to make sure residents and visitors have places to go for dinner in the evening. Nancy’s, Corby Pantry and Tearoom and The Courthouse have adjusted their hours to open late for dinner across the next few weeks until after Halloween. Please support these local businesses so we can continue to have evening dining options in the town.
Matchmaking Festival 2024
The annual matchmaking weekend starting November 8th will have some adjustments due to events beyond our control – while the actual matchmaking events won’t take place – we have a great schedule of live music with Tim Edey and Dermot Byrne and friends the Beehive Bar Ardara on Friday 8th.
Belfast Jimmy has a big lineup of top musicians at the Corner House Ardara as we welcome home John Joe and loads of good music Doherty’s Bar all weekend so Ardara is still the place to be!
Halloween Ghost Walk
A Halloween Ghost walk takes place on Monday Oct 28th at Drumbarron. Registration is at the Parish Centre at 6.30pm with walk taking place at 7pm. Ages 2 – 10 fancy dress welcome. Price per child is €5 or €10 for a family.
Pilates at Ardara GAA
Ever wanted to try Pilates? Classes now taking place in Ardara GAA on Tuesdays and Thursdays with ladies and gents classes priced at €8 per class.
Dolmen Centre celebrates 25 years
The Dolmen Centre itself was built in 2000, so in 2025 we will be celebrating its 25th anniversary.
To mark this occasion the team is planning a series of events, and carrying out some changes to the building and to share with the community the importance of the building to all those who use it or are likely to use it in the future. Keep an eye out for details coming soon!
Ardara Bluegrass Festival – 2025
