Bonny Glen Woods Official Opening

The Bonny Glen Woods were officially opened by Minister Charlie McConalogue T.D. on Thursday 27th June which took place in The Dolmen Centre as well as the entrance of the Woods where a plaque was unveiled to commemorate the event.

Ardara Artisan Market

The next Ardara Artisan Market will take place in the town car park under the canopy on Saturday 29th June from 11am – 3pm.

Defective Blocks Meeting

Has your home been affected by defective concrete blocks? A meeting will be held in CDP Na Rosann, Dungloe on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 at 7pm to discuss the matter and provide further information on the issue.

PÁDRAIC FIACC – ‘Tear The Dead Day Back Alive’ – 6pm Wednesday 6th August

Literary Executor, Michael McKernon will present a short film and talk  about the dazzling work of this international Irish poet. Member of Aosdana for many years, and holder of the prestigious AE George Russell Award, Pádraic made an indelible mark on Irish literary tradition. One week before his death in 2019 President M D Higgins visited him and on behalf of the people of Ireland thanked him for the ‘…significant contribution he has made to the world of literature…’
