Pat Gavigan passed away around 2pm yesterday, Sunday January 15th, in the company of his wonderful wife Diane and family members at his home in Beagh.Pat truly put up the big fight and bore his sickness with wonderful dignity. A truly wonderful family person, a great community person, and everything he did he did so well and with great sincerity, and the best neighbour in the world. Our parish will be at a great loss after the passing of Pat. Pat’s last months on earth were difficult times, but he was so strong and was unbelievably cared for by Diane, Sinead, Patrick, Pamela and Hugh Gerard, and with the support of all the family and members of the medical profession. God bless Pat, we will all miss your warm quiet style around our town.
