The Johnny Doherty festival returns for 2023. The Johnny Doherty Festival is a traditional music held in honour of the fiddler, John Doherty, comprising concerts in the heritage town of Ardara. John Doherty was a world-renowned traditional musician who was born in and spent much time in Ardara.

Friday 22nd September

Bríd Harper, Dermot Byrne and Steve Cooney return to Ardara with an iconic set at the Beehive €15

Saturday 23rd September

The legend of Irish trad, multi-instrumentalist Sharon Shannon plays the Ardara GAA Club €25 see more info here

 

Sunday 24th September

The Friel Sisters live at the Beehive at 8.30pm €15
