Notices

Over the last period of time, we have noticed that when people have booked anniversary Masses, some of them have forgotten (whether genuinely or otherwise) that there is an expectation of a stipend expected in association with the celebration of the Mass. The stipend is part of the priest’s income and is always welcome.

Notices of Interest to Members of the Community

Irish Dancing Classes resume in the Parish Centre on Thursday 23rd September at 5.30pm. Beginners are welcome. Guidelines are in place.

Donegal GAP Heritage and History Group will hold a live meeting in the marquee outside Barrett’s Tavern, Kilclooney on Saturday 25th September at 11.00am. Please RSVP to ardaraheritagehistory@gmail.com by Tuesday 21st September. Covid guidelines apply.

Next Sunday is First Communion Day for the younger members of the Parish community. The Mass of Celebration will be celebrated at 2.00pm. Could we ask you say a little prayer sometime this week for the children who will receive the Lord in Holy Communion for the first time next Sunday, and for their families.

We pray for the dead. Patrick Carr and James Boyle whose anniversaries occur at this time. May they rest in peace. Amen.
