Christmas Lights
Ardara will be lit up for Christmas! Preparations are taking place for the erection of the Christmas Lights on the streets of Ardara. Shane Mulreany and his team are organizing new lights and fittings for the task in hand.
Michael Barrett is organizing the Christmas Tree on the Diamond and the Crib team will have the Crib in place for the switch on, which is on Sunday 6th December at 6.00pm. The switch on this year will be carried out by a special lady in our Community.
There is a Go Fund Me page set up to assist with the costs and everyone is most welcome to contribute no matter how small. The lights are for everyone in Ardara.
Sympathy
The sympathy of the Community this week goes to the Gallagher and McElhinney families on the death on May McElhinney whose funeral took place on Monday last. Also to James McBrearty, Edergole, on the death of his sister Maureen Doherty in Killybegs, the Conway family, Tullycleave on the death of Michael Conway and the Breslin Family, West End on the death of Teague Breslin.
