Modern Dance Classes Return:  This Thursday night in the Heritage Centre at 8.30pm, we have the return of Dance Classes. Focus mainly on Jive, Waltz and Quick Step with some others also included.   Beginners and people who just love to dance are most welcome. Note 8.30 pm start.
 
I.C.A: Art Classes will commence on Weds 21st September in St Shanaghan House and continue through October.These will be part funded by The Donegal Education and Training Board Community Education Programme. New Magazine “Duchas” ready to launch. The new Ardara Magazine due for sale in early december is finalising articles, photos for publishing. Anyone with articles of 1000 words approx and relating to the area or photos of the area, please send toduchas2015@gmail.com   It is planned to cater for Ardara, Glenties and Killybegs in this Publication.
 
Johnny Doherty Weekend: Will take place on 25th to 27th September. “Cherish the Ladies” Concert will take place in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel on the Saturday night. Tickets are currently on sale for the Concert as it will sell out fairly quickly. Tickets can be purchased at the Hotel for €20.00

Downstrands Family Resource Centre: Autumn activities will be starting in September. It is hope to run the following new courses if we get enough numbers. What’s Cookin’, Power of Positive Thinking, Mindfulness, Mosaics, Archaeology, Art Classes. Continuing Activities: Ramblers Walking Group, Computers and Knit & Crochet in Glenties. Kids Activities: Badminton, Guitar Lessons, Basketball and Judo. There are spaces for new members in these activities. Babies and Toddlers: There is the ongoing Mother & Toddler Groups in Portnoo and Glenties, Baby Massage, Bumps & Beyond, Messy Play and Tine Tunes.
